Last week the Skreppers officially started to record their new (4th) album. The working title for this terrible monster is: "SKREPPTOCOCK". As always, it looks like it's going to be a double album, but in the end we usually put our brains back into our skulls. New songs are very simple and short. Hypnotic and nihilistic ones.We will record about 50 songs in our own studio and record them straight to 2-track c-cassette, so the sound will be rough and beautiful.

The Skreppers will return to the legendary Tavastia Club New Year's Eve gig in Helsinki. The band supports (surprise!) HIM on their already traditional end-of-the-year show at the famed Helsinki club. The Skreppers will jump on the stage on December 30, the first night of the two-day-concert feast. Both nights are unfortunately already sold out!

Call of the Trash should now be available in every rock'n'roll record shop (in Finland) with even a slight amount of self-respect. Go get your own copy, because eventually they might run out. There is an example to fear and to learn from: the legendary Skreppers vinyl LP Splish! Splash! Every Night? is sold out, so there's no use ordering it anymore. The remaining couple of vinyls will be sold under the counter at The Skreppers' gigs if you are clever enough to ask and have the required amount of dough in your wallet...well, might just as well be that the songs + some extras end up on CD too...but you never know, do you?

The Skreppers will perform at the Popkomm 2004 music conference in Berlin on
Thursday, September 30 and Friday, October 1, invited by their German
record company. On October 2, the band is planning to delight the sinful
Berlin nightlife with a gig, at a venue still to be confirmed. Come back for

In July, The Skreppers did some promoting, holidaying and general messing around in Austria.On the side, the band threw a couple of live shows and also something useful: an interview for the local Vienna television. The program will be aired in October, when the band returns to do some gigs in Salzburg and Vienna. The German Stalker magazine did a story of the tour highlights, please check that for the censored details!

The next Finnish gigs will be done under the headline “Trash Boulevard -Tour ” at August and October, a couple of gigs in Sweden will follow in December, and the beginning of 2005 will see more Skreppers touring in Scandinavia and Germany.

”Call of the Trash” by Udai Records will hit the shops on 25.8. in Finland, distributed by Kråklund. The distribution deals and possibilities for the rest of the world are currently being reviewed.

New Spring -tour called ''Soap on the Floor'' starts from Sweden 9th of May.

First at Örebro where they gonna published new compilation album where is new Skreppers tune ''Hot Pants''.

Then they go to Stockholm and after that some Finnish towns. Jyväskylä, Seinäjoki, Helsinki and Lahti.

THE SKREPPERS KIERTÄMÄÄN RUOTSIA JA SUOMEA
Psycho/garage/punk-orkesteri THE SKREPPERS aloittaa pienen Soap On The Floor kevätkiertueen Ruotsista. Ensimmäinen keikka on perjantaina 9.5. Örebrossa P2 klubilla, jossa on Ruotsalaisen Garage-kokoelmalevyn julkistamistilaisuus. Levyltä löytyy myös Skreppersin ennen julkaisemAton Hot Pants -biisi. Lämppärinä toimii ruotsalainen THE SATANS. Seuraavana päivänä THE MAGGOTS lämmittelee Skreppersejä Tukholman Clambers klubilla.

Suomessa bändi on Jyväskylän Bar 68:ssa perjantaina 16.5. ja 17.5. Seinäjoen Bar 15:ssä.

Tavastian keikalle torstaina 22.5. tulee lämmittelemään Skreppersin ruotsalaisen levy-yhtiön Low Impactin toinen orkesteri THE SEWERGROOVES. Kiertueen jäähyväisbileet rymistellään Lahden Torvessa 24.5. lauantaina.

Kiertueen jälkeen yhtye suuntaa kesäksi studioon äänittämään tulevaa Call Of The Trash -albumiaan.
